Jehovah's Witnesses
The main problems RM has with the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (Jehovah’s Witnesses) are as follows:
-While Scripture says that Jesus is part of the one eternal God, Jehovah’s Witnesses deny that Jesus is God but rather, they say that He is Michael the Archangel who came to earth as a human, but not God.
-While Scripture teaches that the Holy Spirit is also part of the one eternal God, Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that the Holy Spirit is not an actual person, but the impersonal active force of God.
-While Scripture says that one is saved by the righteousness of Christ alone received by faith alone, the Jehovah’s Witnesses claim that in order to be saved one must be a member (a Jehovah’s Witness), be baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness, and perform good works to earn their salvation and stay in God’s love.
All other issues, like the Jehovah’s Witnesses incorrect translation of the Hebrew “Yahweh,” their bizarre eschatological (end times) views, and their terrible translation of the Bible, although they are important and will be discussed, are second in importance to the main points listed above. It is these issues that will receive special attention and focus.
